The Humanities Society exists to further enrich the intellectual community of York College of Pennsylvania. This is accomplished by setting up discussion forums, organizing student conferences, taking trips to culturally relevant sites (art museums, concerts, and conferences), and bringing in guest speakers to spark our imaginations.  The Society is open to all eligible YCP students interested in the arts, literature, philosophy, and religion.  During the academic year, the Society co-sponsors several events in the Humanities Lecture Series, holds regular meetings to plan related activities, and publishes a newsletter.
