A MESSAGE FROM COACH GABLE
As the leaves begin to change and the colors and temperatures
fall, the excitement of another wrestling season is just around the corner.
Last year’s successes do not seem a distant memory yet, but it is already
time to focus on creating new memories for which to be proud. Whether
that includes a repeat of last years performance or not, success is measured
in terms of effort and attitude displayed. This years group of athletes
will be lead by a strong contingent of seniors. There will be many
new faces to carry the torch this year also and we are certain the strong
Dallastown tradition will continue. Speaking on behalf of the coaches,
we are very eager to work with this year’s energetic group to help them
reach their personal and team goals. Reno, Wilson, Manheim and a
tough dual meet schedule should provide the needed challenges to ensure
that the wrestlers are ready to confidently compete with the best.
As always, we very much appreciate the outstanding parental and fan support
and we look forward to sharing the excitement of the 2000-2001 season with
you.
I would like to personally thank Coach John Myers and
Coach Brad Lloyd for their outstanding contribution of time, energy, expertise
and friendship to the Dallastown wrestling program. Your efforts
were very much appreciated by myself as well as the student athletes that
you have mentored over the years.
